Virtualization is a powerful technology that is now very viable and affordable at other than the mainframe level. NMDS has experience with Virtualization including: virtualizing servers to consolidate hardware, creating virtualized copies of complex configurations to be used in case of disaster, creating virtualized copies of production servers to be be used for testing and integration, creating multiple test configurations using virtualized OS's and in creating virtualized copies of legacy systems that a business needs to continue to use but wants to move to a more modern host platform.

NMDS uses Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 for integration testing, disaster recovery solutions, general testing and low-demand production environments. NMDS uses virtualization products from VMWare for demanding production environments.
